Is there any hope for employment after ORD?
For PES C it won't affect you job opportuntiy after you ORD but it's not so the case for PES E personnels.Originally posted by wuming78:whether you are pes c or e does not affect your opportunity for employment after you ord.

im not sure why you say that. could you elaborate and substantiate your claim? i have pes e friends who are doing fine. well, if the person has a genuine medical condition to cause him to be downgraded, and furthermore performs well in whatever he does as a pes e vocationalist, how can anyone discriminate against him?Originally posted by chikopek:For PES C it won't affect you job opportuntiy after you ORD but it's not so the case for PES E personnels.
I had no reasons to discriminate them as I had medical problems also. I also hope that it is not truth as I remembered during my days in Tekong one of my instructors told me that one will be difficuit to find jobs should he be in PES E.Originally posted by wuming78:im not sure why you say that. could you elaborate and substantiate your claim? i have pes e friends who are doing fine. well, if the person has a genuine medical condition to cause him to be downgraded, and furthermore performs well in whatever he does as a pes e vocationalist, how can anyone discriminate against him?
im not sure about that. as much as i can remember, the certificate we get at the end of our service does not state our pes status, only what we do, and how we have done. an enlightened employer would be more interested in how his prospective employee can perform rather than his pes status. afterall, the pes status is only influenced by one's physical and medical condition. unless of course if the person has severe medical conditions, making him expensive to insure, and potentially affecting his work performance.Originally posted by chikopek:I had no reasons to discriminate them as I had medical problems also. He said that next time when we work, those employers will take a look at our NSF PES record and thus some employers will not hire a PES E personnel......
My instructor said that an employer may have this mindset: Why employ a PES E personnel over a PES A/B/C personnel?
