Calling people by surnames

  got diff meh? LOL. it makes no diff to me when u call the person by name or surname.

  your close frens will oso call you by your surname one what once you reach a certain age.
  
  alot of ppl around 20 onwards dunno why start switching to surname liao. it's like you speak english in pri sch. chinese in sec sch. and hokkien in poly. everything has a stage in life

  if anyone finds calling by surname rude. ask them to address u by your rank then followed by your surname.
