  the position where u sew your rank is also important too. sewing too high up is not nice, sewing too low is worse especially when u fold smart 4, cover up the rank.
  
  there was this sgt, he sew his rank too low, when he fold his smart 4, it totally cover up his rank, people see liao thought he was a PTE.

  also....when sewing on the rank on the sleeves , try to iron the sleeves and get a centre line and sew the rank infront (nearest to ur front) of the sleeves

  yah.. when sewn properly, + ippt badge, + marksman, tabs optional, a specialist's uniform can look real smart!

  ya i seen before a guradsman CPL with marksman, IPPT gold and his guards tab on his no.4. looks garang sia!

  Er..look at NCC cadet MSG or SSG la..they got a lot of tags..oso very garang lo..Haha..

  very misleading... bmt that time a sotong ic from my platoon tiam the contigent and greet "good afternoon staff!" only to realise it was ncc cadet. the badges scare him lah...

  NCC badges are not exactly my idea of garangness.
  
  JCC, Airborne are what i call garang. having a JCC alone wins all those NCC badges combined together.

  well, u say it like as though whole sg he's the only guardsman with marksman and IPPT gold.
