MINDEF NS ENLISTMENT

i received a call from mindef THIS afternoon saying that my enlistment date had been postpone from 17/12 to 14/1 bcos i passed my NAPFA.... n i had checked my enlistment date through www.miw.com.sg jus now, but the enlistment date is still stated as 17/12... any1 encounter this problem? die ah... how? wat shall i do?

if u didn't take or pass your IPPT, you have to go for PTP loh.

wait loh .. maybe they got error or the website havent update ?? best is u call mindef again .. if they give u the same answer again .. get the name of the person receving the call .. note the time n dae .. so when they question .. at least u got proof ..

If you're 17/12 you should have already receive your enlistment notice... Just go to the place of reporting the enlistment notice writes, if don't have any enlistment then go home lor, better to play safe ^^
then again, if they really postpone it to 14/1 you should receive yet another enlistment notice by now. cos i'm enlisting on the 14th and i received my notice around november. -
You never take ippt means you go in earlier for ptp lor. website correct, people call you wrong.
mindef so zhai nowadays meh, can call people up personally and tell them when go in? Play safe lah, go 17, if wrong still can go home, don't go on my birthday. -

i remember last time before i enlist for army, got this stupid cmpb clerk kept sms me saying that i have not key in my personal particulars through the interent. when matter of fact i have already done so, but he still kept insisting i've not done so.
so this is what i suggest, don't trust the phone call. since u didn't take IPPT, u comfirm must go for PTP what, so report to bedok camp this friday. -

Anyway... my advice to you is... you got no letter so better play safe.
WHat you should have done is during the call you ask for his NRIC, rank and name. Like that at least got some one to point finger.
IF you have passed NAPFA.... you should have a copy of results slip to keep. At least thats a good enough reason to defer till january. -
