What will i do in HQ ARMOUR if im posted there?

Broadly speaking, your enlistment into HQ Armour as a PES E recruit is quite fortunate so to speak.Firstly, your BMT is only 1 week long.Secondly, HQ level postings usually come with a better life in terms of peace and less physical and mental stress due to the work you will be handling.So, have a optimistic outlook and NS life will not be that "siong".If you ask anyone whether they want to be in your shoes, 8 out of 10 will do anything for that.
(You may wish to bring up the distance issue to your superiors if it's really a dire situation.Otherwise, I don't think they will post you to a nearer camp based on mere housing, as what Wuming78 has said.Just stay safe and do report back here

During my BMT, I was selected for pilot training but got removed because of spaces being filled up for Uni graduates. Then kanna kick to become Bridage Recce Commander, before ORD, was asked to become SOF since I was airborne diver trained. They had sent me the application form and said even after I ORD, I still can come back for SOF. Should I???

nah, the airborne and diver courses was part of the NCC I took before entering NS, and was allowed to be put on during my NS life. I had been selected for MP, SSC (Singapore Shooting Continent), guardsmen and SOF before ORD. So, being combat fit is also quite rewarding

Are there any free shuttle bus services to and fro camp to the city or anywhere else to drop us off to enable transport convenience? Like to Boon Lay or Jurong East MRT?

In my time, service (private shuttle bus) is only for regulars, for non-regulars you can also queue up at the bus stop, however, if all the empty spaces are filled up then lan-lan you have to walk out to bus stop to take service Tibs 175 (if I still remember correctly)
But now, I dunno as I ORD 2 year liao but anyway, I got my 2B while in service, so for the latter years, I rode to camp most of the time. -

hello there ........ my advice to you is not to have any expectations when you go over. Cos qns you ask, we oso cant answer, and we definitely dun want you to have misguided notions. No doubt you are PES E status, just go in, do watever is needed and come out in 1 piece. Frankly I see you ask so many qns, machiam going for tour like dat ........

Oh, also forget to mention, the shuttle bus also cater for DXOs (people who work for SAF but non-uniform)
Ususally, the bus will be half-full by the regulars and DXOs, so when you queue, you need to rush to the bus stop or else no more space liao. And also this is not a first come first serve queue.
Simple Rule: Regulars and DXOs will be given piority. Others: If got space, you can get in, if not go take the Public transport. -
Seriously, getting out of sungei gedong camp is so difficult. Theres only that miserable bus service to contend with.
Most of the time, I walk to the main road and try to hitchhike on someone's pickup/lorry. 3/5 times i get lucky. -

Same as Sungei Gedong Camp, HQ Armour is just one of the units in it. There are also other units (all of which are Armour based) within Sungei Gedong Camp also. -
