Now i Pes E have to do Guard Duty due to my SQN personnel all when for the heli evacvation
haiZzzzzz i so bad luck leh 
how how never do guard duty before. what to do? -
do guard duty as in carrying rifle doing sentry that type? not orderly?

no lah..think its ok.
you not RP or MP mah...so the usual is you and another 6-8 others will be stationed in the guard room, and those "fit" ones will do the prowling..like continuously, but scheduled in such a way that everyone can "sleep" for at least 4 hours everytime.
most prob you will be the orderly, and will do whatever the guard comd or guard 2ic says lor, like go buy dinner, lunch, etc, go get drinks, go do area cleaning, help out in issuing rifles, etc....
but basically, when the prowling starts, you ZUO BO! muahaahah....good lah!

He's right.PES E equates to no guard duty as an armed or unarmed sentry.Hopefully you are the guardroom orderly, because your S1, DO and Guard Commander can get into serious trouble if you are doing sentry.Originally posted by wuming78:1. you are not trained for that kind of deployment.

According to directives, PES C9L2 personnel are not supposed to do guard duties, actually PES C is already considered free from regimental duties.But units must take into account staffing strength and usually will put those PES C ppl who are not in any direct risk of health from duty to do so.

keeping in mind that martin_lim85 has not even use a m16 or any other rifle before, i doubt he'll be doing any guard duty as in sentry or prowling.
most likely do orderly loh. very relax one. just take rations and maybe do a bit of admin work.

the issue is about doing the right thing.
whether hes pes e or not or if hes complaining is besides the point.
anyway most pes e guys get their status through genuine medical conditions and not by choice. no one is asking for sympathy towards them - im sure they do not want sympathy too. but we should not look at them differently just because of their pes status. not everyone chao gengs and does so successfully.
i was once pes e. now im pes b. hence i can say i know what it feels like when you are downgraded for something beyond your control. -

In OETI or Ayer Rajah camp in general, there are many PES C personnels doing guard duty.
