I remember there's a special name for toilet onboard ship. Anyone with any idea what is it called?
Anyone else know of such special naming conventions?

Hehe...no idea neither..I was from Army..Only heard of such terms from people and shows...

the name heads for toilet is originated dunno how many years ago..
when there r still no toilet or heads onboard..
ppl just point their ass outside of the ship while hanging on by hands on the railings..
ppl squatted low until they feel they are in a comfortable pang sai position..
and normally when they squat, only their head will be shown above the railings of the ship.. -

No offence to Navy guys but during WWII, there was a quote about tradition that was wrongly attributed to Sir Winston Churchill. The quote was:
"DonÂ’t talk to me about naval tradition. ItÂ’s nothing but rum, sodomy and the lash."
The quote was actually made by Churchill's assistant, Anthony Montague-Browne. But on hearing it, Churchill admitted that he'd wished he'd been the one to say it. Funny thing to hear from a former Navy man. -
