BMT no more SOC?

before enlisting, if u didn't get a silver for your IPPT, u will go for a 2 months PTP in which basically u will do PT training like running, circuit training, gym foot drills, short route marches and lots of IPPT every now and then.
then in BMT, u will be trained in:
- Use of M16 (actually for those who go for PTP, it was taught already)
- Foot Drills
- BCCT
- SOC
- Route Marches
- Swimming (for those who can't swim)
- IMT
- Range
- 7 days Field Camp
- 3 days SITEST (heard now no more liao)
- IPPT -

And i distinctly remember that my bmt field camp was only 5 days.. -
there is still SIT test....
and BCCT is um.... supposed to be unarmed fighting, let's just leave it at that. -
i dun know, now its SAR21 rite? so already there is NO MORE bayonet fighting lessons liao....is there still LOG PT?....think dun have also...then WTF they doing in BMT???
maybe there push earlier the UNARMED COMBAT thing to BMT? else i really cannot think what things they doing in BMT, perhaps the garment reducing BMT to 2 months? cuz overall its all now changed to 2 yrs NSF rite?

My first ever Log-PT was in 1992 and I was in sick bay. My first ever SAW theory lesson was also in 1992 and I was also in sick bay ( of course fail the practical lesson/test lah ). Although BMT still using M16, BMT has changed to the new Unarmed Combat courses 'cos I was the last BMT batch to undergo the Bayonet Fighting in '03
