What's 20 push-ups compared to sign extra or sign 1206? Both the latter punishments happen regularly as well. -

sometimes u disagree wif ya superiors, they pull rank or abuse their authority... i personally is a victim of that... really "gaek sim"...

Hey guys.... this form of "bullying" exists everywhere and with anyone.
OK.... in the army it can be more common as rank is going to be pulled anyhow by people trying to get the job done or in enforcing discipline.
What I can only advise is this.... take the punishment / scolding if it is light first and make an official complaint to the next higher authority. Just as in your workplace. Sit down and think thru' how to present your case. It is very easy to let emotions run high and let them feed your anger. If you lose your temper or are insubordinate in anyway, you will lose. At the end of the day, the higher authority will always back up its managers , officers, NCOs , specs whatever.... Because the whole system of work and discipline is based around respect and acknowledgement that the someone who is chosen or elected to be your senior has to make the decisions. He has his own problems which are different in nature and scale.
