seems that alot of NSFs have online blogs of themselves in camp, in really dumb poses with weapons etc. some more outrageous ones include OCS cadets wearing briefs, SBO, helmet, sar21 and cig in mouth.
think any of the upper management knows of existence of these pics?
would any actions be taken? -
This is nothing man..Look at the blogs of the US soldiers in Iraq.We are focusing too much on the wrong side of security IMHO.

Got rule say you can't bring in a mobile with a camera feature, but no rule against a proper camera.

Do whatever you want, just don't get caught.
I don't think MSD is going to meticulously go through every blog there is on the Web just to find any incriminating photos.... but if you do get caught, then, tough luck.
Just make sure the photos are purely innocent fun such as fooling around in briefs and SBO attire and so on. It's still a lot safer than posing with some classified stuff the world does not yet know about. -
Yep.Which army in the world would not encourage bond-building activities and camaraderie and taking pictures for memories helps.I'm confident that the really confidential and secure sites are well-monitored anyway.

of course we can question how the pictures got taken - whether the camera in question had the proper authorisation. but i think what is more important is whether the pictures have inadvertently displayed sensitive information.
