Kena Exercise after being posted in, everyday OT.Broke-up with my ex at the same time, boss was a pain in the arse, was not trained in vehicle maintenance but ended up doing exercise support as MIS staff in charge of spares...The days went by..Going to ORD now, and looking back, I'm glad i survived it.You can do it.Don't ever give up.We stay-out personnel are already way luckier than chiong-sua warriors.

that was what i felt when i was first enlisted in 1996 as a clerk, while all my friends in my cohort went for BMT. u can imagine how awkward i felt, and how out of place i was when i went out with them and didnt understand a single thing they were talking about.
but i got by, doing what i was supposed to do, adapting, accepting, and learning. the people there were nice to me and it helped. in the end, my short clerical stint was one memorable period of my ns life.
you really have to learn to accept the situation as it is, and make the best of it. unless there are plausible chances, there is really no point fretting about something that is beyond your control. dont think you want to feel miserable for the rest of your ns right?
and once you get by with that, with any other problems with your work, your colleauges, etc, you should seek the proper assistance, and such help should be rendered to you.
not everyone can chiong sua, and what you are doing is equally important. do not let someone else belittle the importance of the support corp. without it, the pay, the logistics, etc, will not be around when needed. even napolean understood the importance of that.
but most importantly, do not belittle yourself. life is never perfect. it is how we respond and adapt, and make the best out of the given situation that defines our life. -
just by hearing the "job scope" by my upper study saying that cannot take MC cannot take leave cannot this cannot that. how the hell i going to take rest when i need one when he ORD

My upperstudy couldn't speak English to save his life........
and i don't know any mandarin either......
Quite amazed how i learnt anything from him
