Anyway, about the airforce guy, he is a WSO (Fighter) from the badge i saw la.... poor guy.. he was actually on heavy medication due to the previous week's training but he was insistent on doing it.

otherwise if you know its coming, its likely that you will, almost reflexively, knee down or bend down or something to that effect.
and more often than not, once you move the slightest bit, you will be totally conscious again, and that's when you will attempt to break your fall with whatever is in your hands, almost reflexively again.
