Pending Pilot Contract

  hi guys, just wanna check with the guys here, anyone of you here is waiting for the pilot contract, means you passed all the tests and inclusing the aeromedical medical checkup. Cause its been like 1 mths already, and i have yet to receive anything from them.. do i still stand a chance?
  
  any pilot trainee here can help? how long do one usually need to wait for the contract huh?

  actually i'm asking the above question not becoz i'm kan jiong or what, but its becoz i'll be going for my Vocational Assignment at Pasir Ris this coming 18th, so i'm afraid air force might not want me if i get selected for Commando. so i'm rather confused now, i dunmind going commando, but i wish i can try to be a pilot first

  call the airforce recruitment centre to ask. none of us would be able to address your concerns better than them.

  actually, i think that people don't call recruitment centre to ask is becos of the "truth" that u might not be accepted.

  ya....i've gone thru all the tests. I'm just waiting for the contract now, this is what the captain told me, "just wait for letter to ask u come down sign the contract". thts all i have

  had called the Airforce Recruitment , and what i was told was, if get selected for Commando Training, then i just have to pass the BMT in order to go for the rest of the pilot training, means i only go for CDO BMT, how ever if i fail the pilot Training at any phase, i will have to continue my CDO training.
  
  This is good i think, comparing going to Tekong for BMT, cause from there, in order to qualify for the Pilot training, i have to Get in OCS first. Which i believe is not easier.
  
  So for now, what i'm worried abt is whether the CDO will select me anot during the Vocational Assignment. And whether i pass my Aeromedical Checkup anot.

  If you really wanna be a pilot, u can still carry on as a commando, complete everything then convert to be a pilot. Nothing complicated about that, like I said the pilots we have, some have completed commando/guards training.
