Does anyone have the ranks of OCT??

was just wondering what does the different ranks representing...cos saw the OCT in safti having so many kind of ranks..those with a white colour 'singapura'...

Anyway to clarify, a cadet earns his white bars as he progresses thru the course, starting with 1 white bar (and a white lanyard) the first day he steps into OCS...
1 white bar = Tri-service term
2 white bars = Service terms 1 and 2
3 white bars = Professional term
... till he receives his black bar at his commissioning (actually before, haha).
As for white colour singapura, its for all OCTs, not just for navy midshipmen. -
if a 1 or 2 white bar OCT OOC and is not given a recourse, will he be "promoted" to a PTE?

So if a cadet OOCs in tri-service term (1 white bar) or service term 1 (2 white bars), he reverts to his original rank of PTE.

Hmm, there are cadets born in 1985/1986 right now.Not too old if you ask me.

As for the question of OOC cadets..Hmm, used to have a PT cadet from school last time..V sad esp when others gog for CPR, he temp. attached to some office to do admin for the time being...He was later posted out as 3SG... -

Anyway, the most obvious thing is whether the wording is in White or Black thread..Most prob for NCC, u'd be able to see only one/two white bar...(The NCC word is in Black) -

Hmmm...these No. 3 boards have stripes that are gold and white in colour..
The rank (CDT) is mainly for people going thru the CLT course bah...I remember teacher NCC-trainees (they have another course for that) having 2 white stripes during training...My eyes may be paying tricks on my though cos I saw it while browsing thru the NCC HQ Event's photo album...
Yah, when the CLT series of rank is worn on No. 4, the gold-threaded items (the gold bar and the "NCC" wording) turns black, while the CADET strip (white) remains as so... -

for the cadets, they are supposed to book in and out in the white shirt black pants attire immediately less the first bookout.
yes, booking out in no. 4 (+ fieldpack, just like a recruit) can be made a punishment for cadets whos bookout attire cmi.
