Yah, tell me about it. I've ord for only about a year and already they've replaced all the kits - literally from head to toe; Helmets, SBO, boots even the duffle bag has been replaced by a luggage bag with wheels. Hiyah, shouldn't have thrown away that pair of NB which I got when I enlisted in late 1999...Although there's a hole in the toecap area already...The SAF seems to be completely replacing their kits... -

Personally now that i'm back to civilian life, the only SAF item i wear now is my old pair of New Balance shoes when i go jogging, the one that was issued when i enlisted back in '00 (the white with blue New Balance patches on the sides).
Was quite amused at AOH '04 when a PTI showed that shoe model to me as one of the relics from the army's past.. -
