Warrant Officer: Rank Promotion/Grading? Career Progression?

May I know under what circumstances will a 2WO promoted to 1WO, a 1WO being promoted to MWO and MWO promoted to SWO?
Does performances and length of serving played a big part? -

LTA 1 -> LTA 2 -> CPT 1 -> CPT 2 -> MAJ 1 -> MAJ 2 -

my IC just went for his JWOC, he said the youngest one there is only 30.

most specs in pp1 would probably be working their butts off to get pp2...
i was wondering..wat must a spec go for or go thru to secure the pp2?any courses he must attend?
or issit up to the ppl 'up' there? -

but i don't think there are many SWO in singapore right? cos SWO are those formation RSMs, SAF RSM, army RSM, airforce RSM, navy RSM right? so it's very hard for MWO to be promoted to SWO, unless any of the above retired or something. -

in the past, it like 1 for $10.00 than 3 for $10.00 and now 10 for $3.00.

My guess is if u were to put them all together, should be able to make up at least a platoon. -
to add on number no. of SWO.
some or most OC in sispec are SWO.
