Warrant Officer: Rank Promotion/Grading? Career Progression?

  Is there such a scheme for warrant officer to convert to officer in SAF? Officially 2LT is senior than SWO. Technically, for warrant officer to become officer, it is a promotion.

  don't say SWO lah, how many can even get MWO?
  i see alot like 1WO then tio diao liao. by then already 45+, going retire liao.

  And if really reach SWO, conversion to a Officer would almost equal straight away ORD since their age is like 50? And officers 'ORD' at around 45..

  I think whatever rank the person aiming, the ppl 'up' there still matters loh. If work real hard, but step on the tails of ppl 'up' there, there will be a new word on the dictionary called 'condemned'!
