due to the overwhelming responses on SAF polo t-shirts in another thread, i have created this official thread for all of us to discuss anything related to polo T-shirts, singlets, PT kit and other admin attires issued by SAF and the different formation/units.
any point of views are welcomed.

hahaha...
one question: how come most, if not all, SAF related T-shirt and polo-shirt, etc, are either brown or black in colour? some kind of tradition?
mabbe those who have the capability can pose images of the different kinds of these here too.

Are the grey ARMY singlets/T-shirts issued out anymore?
Or have they all been replaced by more fanciful and stylish designs? -
is there a black polo t-shirt for air force?

CMWs have their own polo-tees too.With their names sewn on them aka JCC style.

the new formation pt kit (singlet and shorts with matching colours, and reasonable material - much better than the grey and black) are nice.
so once again, why black and brown ah? why isit that none of the army shirts are green in colour (since army mah)? -

The admin attire was a plain green t-shirt, shorts with the camo pattern, green socks with the black canvas shoes, i think.
Well, actually i'm glad we are no longer using the green shirt, cos it looks... even worse than the grey ARMY t-shirt..

got 1 time, a ugly fatso went to buy the PTI polo tee from the e-mart and wear it outside, i wanna laugh sia. he didn't even pass his IPPT yet want to act like he's a PTI. what a cock.

Yeah! - I had to wear the green t-shirts, camo shorts and the black canvas shoes in BMT. as mentioned in another thread, some don't like the idea of people wearing the JCC, airborne, guards polo tees out in the public.
but those polo tees are sold everywhere in e-marts. last year the army open house also got sell, to the public somemore. (not cheap somemore, $20+
)
so it's basically no big deal, after all to the civilians, they don't even know what the heck a JCC/airborne logo is.

but there are some that cannot be bought locally rite? e.g. the overseas ex shirts.
anyway, i dunno about the rest, but i myself adhere to the principle that if i havent earned it myself, i wont wear it.
imagine wearing a commando shirt, and then someone comes along and ask you if you are a commando! how embarrasing! worse still, kanna suan by frens who would know what you actually are! -

anyway i think its valid, esp since the new pt kit is of higher quality and more suited for physical activities than the grey singlet. -
