I went for my VA recently at Pasir Ris Camp, told him i was very interested during the interview.
But now, my parents and gf are super worried, and they are asking whether i would have to go for another interview before being enlisted? Or am i at the point of no turning back now?
ps: im not the sporty/fit kind. but wanna train up myself in there. so they are worried i cannot take it -
worried for wat?...u can be trained....others have gone b4 u...still survive...u sure can do it

your parents and gf are naturally worried. but you can assure them that many have gone through it before and have came out well and good. so dont give up your interest so easily! -
bro..dun worry, at least you have the will to give it a try, some people wont even think of it.. i salute you for that. and btw, i believe when u go in there, your brothers inside will encourage each others..so i'm sure everyone who have to will , will be able to make it. btw i also went for the VA, and maybe i'll be posted there also, so maybe wanna stay in contact, we may be teher at the same time

i forgot to add that im a smoker of 7yrs, currently average 12sticks a day.. im worried that its hard for my body to take it.. some more i do not exercise regularly.. sure canot run -
dun worri so much la. the current alpha company in PRC is having hell lots of gd time thr. beside, no more BCT compared to my batch. after BMT get cpl rank. wtf.. 7 mths getting red beret..
im last batch of cdo from hendon. gng BOT soon den BAC and 72km route march and im done. turning ops on june 16. 1 yr and few days after i enlisted last june. -
Just endure, you will be amazed at how much punishment your body and mind can tahan...keke.

But I think the commandos r still among the best in SAF.
The things u all do muz be something out of the ordinary. -
With regards to combat vocations that are siong, i think Armoured Infantry is even more siong.
They need to do alot of things associated with Infantry like flanking lah, etc...ok they are not expected to walk much but fuck i heard stories of their multi-kilometres flanking and they are also to clean their M113 after each excercise.... -

Why can't cdos and guardsmen get along? Esp when their tasks are complementary... guardsmen will have trouble when cdos fail at their job in the opening hours of a conflict and the cdo's efforts are in vain if the guards do not exploit it... hmm...
