  I was the flag / colour escort for the SAF day parade at SAFTI MI in 1997....1st Guards and i am only 3Sgt nia.
  
  Its siong, fucking siong but at least got one week of off-pass later..keke...can slowly use.

  I kena before for my Div Commander's change of command parade. Easy lah, on the day itself, one quick rehersal, actual thing in the afternoon.
  
  RSM took a picture of me. Looking quite kilat holding the national flag (or was it SAF flag? Can't remember) flanked by two formidable-looking SSGs.....didn't have to be Duty officer for quite a while after that

  not quite. the flag escorts for the 38th enginner anniversary tomorrow are two 3SG.

  i think tkw88 was refering to NDP lah. NDP quite strict, only 2SGs and above for escorts. Internal parades not so particular i guess.
