hi, i am going into the army soon and i want to know whether i can bring my camera phone in? cause i heard from my friends that camera phone is not allow.

is it during the 1st three months of training tats is not allow? or after the 3 months then allow? cause my relative go in for quite long liao n saw him still using camera phone

Your cousin is doing it illegally. If he gets caught, he'll have to deal with the consequences.

Although i know camera phone very common now, but they are still comparatively more expensive than regualr hp. So if ppl want to steal phone they will target camera hp. Juz get a cheap phone for use in camp, i'm sure you don't want your expensive phone to get stolen rite? -

for trainee, especially those enlisting for BMT, i strongly suggest u all don't bring camera phones, cos all trainee will need to declare their phones to the platoon sergeant. most properly he will confiscate it and u end up unable to use your phone at all.
in fact for trainee, whom most of them will be staying in, never ever bring a expensive phone to camp. cos i have seem so many cases of phones got stolen.
last time, one of my BMT sergeants got his expensive phone stolen.
