All the ACGS are all COL estab.DIV COMDs are BG and above.
Head Joint Depts are COL/BG.Not sure about the estab..BTW whats OCAT? -
I think Chief Driver (Logs and Transport) is still only an LTC. Commander 9 Div/Infantry is still COL (pending promotion this June). Commander 3 Div is BG. Damn nice guy too, Loh Wai Kheong.

OCAT not sure. Tradoc is short for "training and doctrine." It's the Army's think tank. Current Commander is BG Neo Kian Hong, former Commander 9 Div.Originally posted by nightzip:

OCAT is somewhat of a sensitive unit? Can't seem to get information in it. I am currently at TRADOC/ATEC, thus i know who my boss is la or else die sia
Honestly speaking, i never heard of a Chief Signals Officer coz i thought it would just be the COs of Signal battalion.
CSTO is only a LTC coz changed appointment. Division commanders can also be a COL (e.g 9 DIV/INFANTRY) Why ah?

in US, they see your rank first, then give you the position.. rarely would you see a MAJ as a Bn comd, for example.

Chief Signals estab is a COL. My time was COL Voon Tse Chow... not sure who is CSO now.
Army Div commanders have an estab of BG. Tradoc also BG, ACGS G3 also BG
JOPD and JID chiefs also BG estab.
Navy Flotillia commander COL Estab.
Airforce Base Comd is COL estab. HAO is BG. CAF is MG.
Most HQ staff appointments have estab of COL -
