Drill command Qns

Hey guys,
during my BMT, my CSM thought me this command while on the march, Hormat Ke-Hadapan. command given while marching, once given, berhenti, then... check up (salute) check down, check up again, then check down, check turn (keblakang pusing) check bang, check left right...march off. Anyone understand what i'm talking about? lol. If you do, what is this used for?
And once sneaked a peak at my ex-RSM's drill manual...if i'm not wrong it's a 1986 version. Saw this section on "Whip/Pistol/Bayonet Drills" but before could turn to the page RSM entered the room... any "veterans" care to share anything they know about this? Thanks alot!

From what my BMT PS told me, it was supposed to be for when you are marching with the guy you are supposed to salute in front of you. You can't possibly march into him, so you have to turn back after you are done saluting.
I didn't know whether he was joking when he said this, but the look on his face was indescriptable... -

Hi i need to know urgently when marching and given the command of "Ke bra kan bu sing". do we take 5 steps (last step bang) to turn around and march off or is it 3 steps?

Hormat kehadapan is a training meant for saluting the parade/platoon ic when reporting strength etc.
Stop, salute, greet/report, salute, return to position.

Check with right foot, left, right, left, bang
then march on left out. -
ok so total 5 steps right? the fifth step is the bang, then left foot march off correct? i always remember it as 5 steps, cos 3 steps seems too little.Originally posted by Nelstar:Command given on left foot

This drill is to practice the soldier when he needs to march forward to the superior officer during parade ceremonial for reporting, asking permission for inspection/dismissal etc... He will march towards the officer, halt, salute, report, salute, about turn then march off...

When marching, the command "pandan kehadapan pan-dan" is given on the right or left foot?
