  hey..im going in on the 12th of march...will i get part of my allowance two weeks after i book out? or i have to wait till the 10th of april

  i stopped getting any money from my parents the moment i enlisted.
  
  as a recruit, there's nothing much you can spend on.
  
  don't waste ur money on clubbing during weekends.

  Yep.Use the money for something useful.Clubbing gets you nowhere..Go on, save up and buy a good 2nd hand film SLR(only $200-$300) and take up photography during your weekends.

  to answer your question, yes you will get a portion of your allowance by the time u book out.

  i got portion of my pay on the 3rd thursday of my confinement. the following saturday is my book out day.
