hi omnipresent,Originally posted by omnipresent:hey doesnt anyone here knows anybody with a blood deficiency called factor 5. im just wondering what pes status would i get
hi green-saccades,Originally posted by green_saccades:hi omnipresent,
I must say that factor V Leiden is quite unusual. You must bring this up at your pre-enlistment review. The main problem with this medical condition is that your blood is more likely clot and hence you may be at risk of stroke & other thrombosis especially if dehydrated. Please do let the Mos at the MCC knowas you merit a downgrade Prob to PES C or E.
My apologiesOriginally posted by omnipresent:hi green-saccades,
thanks for replying me. the main problem of my illness is that if there is any internal bleeding, my blood cannot clot back.its not factor V Leiden but owren's disease or sth. i actually told the mo about it and they had refer me to the hospital and i've got everything done and the report sent back to cmpb.just that they're taking quite some time to give me my pes status and i couldnt plan my schedule.i just hope they could be faster. lol.
Could anybody advice on the questions on the previous page? Thank you!Originally posted by q334554321:Hi, I have recurring fainting spells, with a positive tilt-table test. My blood pressure falls consistently on standing.
What PES is that likely to be? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Though the tilt-table test is positive and you are obviously having posture.-related symptoms, we'll need to have a firm diagnosis before the MCC can classify you. Has your cardiologist come to a diagnosis yet?
I'm afraid vasovagal syncope is not really a downgradable condition. I would however bring this up at MCC. Being Skinny really cannot account for all the fainting spells. if nothing definite can be found then PES B would be quite likely, but make sure you bring all the test results. Without seeing your detailed info, I wont be able to classify you straight off.Originally posted by q334554321:Dr. Green_saccades,
Thank you for your reply. I had a borderline abnormal "autonomic function test". All the rule-out tests for Cardio, "Addison's disease", diabetes, "auto-immunity", whatever mineral/vitamin deficiency etc. were normal. There are no more tests ordered. The doctor suggested poor muscular tone as a possible cause for blood pooling in the legs. (Yes I am very skinny)
If it is just "recurring vasovagal syncope", is a Pes B likely?
hi! 'replied in the other threadOriginally posted by azoboi:Dr Green Saccades ..can ask u smt
it's regarding scoliosis..spine curve of cobb angle between 20 to 30 degrees? is this considered mild still? and what will the MO do ?
There won't be a 2nd round of classification (what for?)Originally posted by Unidentified:hi , got a question to ask
i already been to checkup , and recieved a letter or ''summary of medical status'' , i was graded Pes A L1
my father told me got 2nd round of checkup when elisted into army and pes status may be change again , is it true ?
oh , btw , i dont know i will get a pes A L1 , but how big are my chance if i really wanted to be a medic

Why you want to be medic? A L1 mean u can be in all vocation.Originally posted by Unidentified:hi , got a question to ask

i wan be normal pengwell.... no disrespect but if you suffer from anxiety, NS is going to be rather tough. it's not only the training. it's also separation from your comfort zone, and coping with physical and mental and emotional stress.
