do u guys have any idea where we can get to check our pes status? cos it's like the MO gave me the re-evaluation of PES status form to fill up but even after 2 months... i'm still not updated on the results...
can we get our medic or go online to check?

I'm PES A currently but I have a very general letter from a skin specialist saying I have atopic dermatitis aggravated by sweating. No direct reccomendation to downgrade, excuse outfield or anything. Would I be able to get anything out of producing this to SAF MO?
BTW does PES C1L3 exist? ie. can take IPPT but cannot go outfield -

the land code thing is only law by law comply if really have real operations like war or....etc.
unless u go back to ur skin specialist to please him/her to write a better memo, u dun get whatever anything. saf medical services have most creams for most skin diseases. e.g. those steriod creams... -
Just wondering
Are there any cases of PES C1L1 personnel being deployed as direct frontline men ie Combat infantry vocations such as Law, Saw, M203, Sect Comd, PS and PCs in a fighting platoon? Or are these vocations only for PES A and B? -
c1l1 really in army is no difference as pes a or b.
if 2 of my friends are pes c1l2, BUT their vocation is still combat, they get combat $100 allowance...
u aint gonna get that $100 for nothing u know..... so... u CAN still deploy in direct combat frontline, able to bear firearms operating in field environment combat vocation. -

technician/mechanic/storeman... but utimately, when posting comes, then u noe...
c9l9 means u r not combat fit (so left service / technical vocations) but be prepared that dont means no guard duties... u also can be deployed to outfield if no manpower to support the operations/exercises.
bmt is modified 7 week bmt. slack than pes a/b bmt, but not so slack until like what la... -

Is it true servicemen diagnozed with mental health problem not likely
to be called up for reservist? -
If one gets temporary down graded, for example, to PES C while he is still a trainee in a combat vocation course will he OOC?
Will he still stay on in his unit or will he get posted out if its a temp downgrade, for eg, for 6 mths.

i got Foot Cellutitis on my ankle and i got operated not long ago with a open wound now and i'm going for the 2nd opertation to take a part of my skin to seal up the operated wound... can i get downgraded like this???

I am currently PES BP.
I want to upgrade to PES B after I have lose weight. -
how ahh? i dont mind PES C9L9. but i dont want to be excused from no.4 and sun exposure. so ridiculous! i go jogging under the hot sun everyday and my school uniform is darn thick. is there anyway i can get them to remove the excuses?

if u garang and like the mud, rain, commando mosquitoes biting even u covered ur body with thick no 4 unifrom in somewhere forested in mandai/jalan boon lay area, pls upgrade pes.
u r damn lucky to have these excuses, remove them and u become a chiong sua car kia to army.
b4 army, dun want these tat excuses, after u go in, u r regreted, and find ways and means to fight back the excuses. -

at this stage, most prob a temp downgrade and excuse boots and lower limbs activities. -
hi,
this is a stupid question but i would like to ask if a MO would know roughly what date a pre-enlistee will be enlisted into the army ? because on my final medical check up the MO told me i would be enlisted in about 3 months time (date on my last check up was may 11th 2007) but up till now i had not receive my letter of enlistment.
my friends told me that i didn't receive my letter maybe because i will be enlisted into a classified unit so they will give me only 3-4 weeks in advance notice of my enlistment date. so i would like to know if what my friend and the MO said are will come true ?

Legally speaking, even PES E servicemen can be required to perform reservist duties. But if someone is PES E for a mental illness, that's quite serious and he is unlikely to be called up. PES C cases are quite minor and I don't see why they cannot be called up for reservist training.Originally posted by will4:Dear MO,
