Hi guys i need some advice here. any help is greatly appreciated. i have marfan's syndrome so when i went for my ns checkup in july the MO gave me Pes D temporarily while waiting for my medical report from the hospital. i was told to come back in a month's time but instead i received a letter a few days ago stating that i am now PES B L1 even though the MO at dat time told me that i would probably get PES E. so obviously im quite shocked and confused. should i accept my pes status or wat shd i do?

Hello, I'm going to enlist on 26th October, in BMTC 2.I've recieved my enlistment letter quite awhile already, and I'm in PES C.The letter did not state the land code, so how do I know what class of PES C am I in.I am overweight and both eye around 800-900 degrees.Other than theses, I have no other problems.
Like this, can I don't become a clerk?I wan a more 'man' vocation and hope can get to use the SAR21 too.

vocation posting order is not choosen by yourself, some say commanders' some say computerised random placement. whatever it is, all heng suay one. and pes C already restricted you from most combatant vocations. pes C will still be trained in ar15 / m16 technical handling and for pes c is a 100m shooting range. for pes a/b, its 300m range.
but though vocation wise for pes c enlistment for more for service/technical vocations, u got chance to be posted to active/ combat units. but bless u for thinking so enthu abt ns, after u go in and taste this organisation, ur mind is likely to settle for a "knn, just serve and f off" attitude. -

Can somone tell me some of the various ailments that lead to PES F classification? I've got a friend who is fit and in healthy state of mind and yet, he is graded like that.
I'm pretty puzzled but pai seh to ask.

Hi i was recently found to have sinus bradycardia. I get headaches when i run. I get out of breath easily during exercise along with random chest pains. Just wonder what pes would i be getting?

i have a long term acl n knee prob which does not permit me to run or sprint. will i be downgraded badly( with colourblind+sweaty palms)
what pes will I most likely be in and am i still needed to run? -

listen to us old birds,... once u get in, u will understand y so many pple just want to f off and get mc to be a non-combatant.
officers, sergeants, corporals, men... all the same... all nsf only... serve and f off. when ord mood strikes, even nsf lta officer calls in sick...
even good boy like me when in primary and secondary with 99% attendance rate, during army time all sorts of patterns will be used. -

if severe sweaty palms, u will be excuse generade throwing during bmt, but rifle still need to learn as got rifle oil in rifle cleaning kit.
colour blindness will exclude u from some vocations. same like some polytechnic courses such as those with bio-science subjects.
with sufficient medical reports/documents/memo from specialists, x-rays if any, will be also granted excuse RMJ (running, marching, jumping). -

are PES C labelled as combat fit?
i know C1L1 and C2L1 can be deployed on the field, but still, by the book, they are still considered non-combat fit right?
can CO/OC runner be a PES C? -
jus wanna ask, can PES be upgraded as in from B to A? and being a B does not affect my chances of going to command sch?

If it is, then usually there's no need to go 2 months earlier, cause only got a few days alocated for Pes C people to enter BMT.
And its usually later then all the PES A and B people. -
whats the diff between PES A and PES A L1. cos i went for the pti thing and i got pes A L1. wondering if it will affect my chances

pes A L1 is actually pes A.
cos in the medical system, the land code data entry is compulsory. so hence, the entry is keyed in as pes A L1.
