  I got spina bifida so what pes will I get?
  
  Is it true that pes C will have to serve 2 years regardless of whether got pass napfa or not?
  
  Then can after I enlist then tell MO about my problem?

  hello! happened to chance on this thread. glad i did.
  
  anw i enlisted in jan 2007 and was given temp pes c1 L3 for 6 mths cuz i was underweight(the min weight to enter pes a/b was 40 kg), hehe i weighted only 38kg nia at cmpb. yeah and i completed my 7 week modified bmt.
  
  but last monday, i was called up for a pes review(my pes status expired 4 mths ago) and the MO told me i will be up=pesed to pes B. apparently i gained 6 kg in a year. -.-
  
  just curious, will i be re-sent to tekong for a bmt recourse although i have finished the modified bmt and where's my possible destination since i am gonna ord in a year's time anw?

  u not need to go back tekong lah... u will continue ur present vocation. but when reservist time may post to a combat vocation.

  Dear MO,
  
  I am undergoing treatment for depression n my psychiatrist has officially said that I am no longer fit to go back for any NS activities.
  
  I have been taking medication for the past months. My PES status is C9.
  When I took the medication, I felt very sleepy. My psychiatrist also mentioned my middle brain is not strong enough to withstand any negative event n is easily worried. In fact, I have already NSAD of my medication. They asked if my medication do cause daily disruption to my everyday life. If it is, it is better to make an apointment to see MO. What is ur opinion on whether I should make an appt to see MO to let him see the type of anti depressant I am taking?

  Dear sir, I have a question regarding temporary down-pes. May I know what will happen once the temporary down-pes has ended? For example, will the medical centre automatically call me back for a review once the expiry date is up? Do I also need to procure a specialist letter just like when I was down-pes'd , or will the MO / major see that if the condition has not improved, extend the down-pes with his own judgement?

  i think with complications is C and E depending on severity .

  but gt admin laspes .
  
  my frenz not called starightaway , a few months after it ended .
  
  I think need proof to show them .
  
  it's either no change in pes , move up or down .
  
  ur condition requires observation before giving a perm status , so ur grade is temp .
  
  bt , gt ppl get temp grade many times then final grade .

  Hi.. i am PES C2L2 and its says Excuse RMJ Permantly.
  
  Erm... Actually i am downgraded because of flat foot, and my CB PS just restrict me from playing soccer... I just want to know whether he is rightful to do that?
  
  I am in an operational camp and i am not allow to exercise ?... darn...

  yes, he is rightful to do so...
  
  if u engage in similiar activities, u will be marked and ur commanders be it 3sg, ps, pc, oc will render ur flat foot condition as 'just another kengster' case.
  
  so u in an active camp,so even u pes c2l2 excuse rmj perm, u want to volunteer for half-marathon, marching events parades......?
  
  want to play soccer, play outside camp lah... play in camp pple see pple next time will say.... balls to ur flat foot....

  i wonder how are they going to review my knee condition after the 3 months is up?because even i don't know whether i am fit to do any running without any pain to my knee.

  u will be called up via the saf100 to report back to ur reservist unit when ur temp pes is due expiry or within 2months upon expiry, depending on how the medics' working style at the medical centre. there at times where the paper documentation list of temp pes nsf/nsman simply lost within the medical centre... hehe...
  
  if have new specialist memo/letter, of cos better bring to show mo. otherwise, just go and with in consultation with the mo, tell him if the condition improve, worsen, or remains unchanged. of cos if common sense... if say improvement, mo will recommend upgrade pes in preparation of ur case statement for the next scheduled medical board which consists of a MAJ MO (med board chairman), and another nsf CPT mo to discuss the serveral pending med board cases.

  nearing the temp pes expiry date, u will be informed. observation by seeing have any improvment/worsening by doing simple reflex test on ur knee such as the max/min angle and degree of rotation/flexion, comparing with the previous record in ur medical case file.
  
  of cos if u have any current or new specialist letter to show mo, bring it to further support ur knee condition.

  but they didn't even do any test the 1st time i went to see mo during my med check up.
  
  i only gave them a letter from the cgh sports medicine clinic.

  if ur reservist mo already knew and documented the medications ur taking. no need to arrange for another appt. no point.

  plus the cgh sports medicine doctors have input their supporting diagnosis and details in it. so the mo may just follow it without any doubt.

  i pass him the letter from cgh sports medicine clinic, he put me pes D. then few weeks later my pes letter came. no test at all, he just ask how is it, but i told him i don't know cause i didnt do anymore sports after injuring it.
