for chronic hep b, most cases is pes b.Originally posted by happydays:Hi there,
Someone i know is a Hepatitis B carrier with liver test raised more than 100.
What will his possible Pes status be?
Thank you
he never make himself clear , liver test gt 1 is enzymes , 1 is liver function .Originally posted by eac:for chronic hep b, most cases is pes b.
by depending on the latest liver panel lab test, might be at most pes C. the mo might order the lab test again and review the lab result b4 giving u the final pes.

they gt classification which is classified information .Originally posted by mattleesc:i am diagnosed with disabling irritable bowel syndrome, that is i experience painful bloating and cramps in the stomach region, and excessive gas and urge to defecate, which is made worst by eating and stress i.e lack of sleep. I also experience vomiting in the middle of night due to acid reflux.
i was graded a PES B despite documentations of my illness. the mo said that such a problem is not deemed eligible for downgrading?
not that i mind, but what do i do if i get such symptoms during training and vocational work? i am also on long term anti depressants used for relaxant purposes, which we all know will cause hangovers in the morning. he did not even write medicinal excuses in my form as "i can simply take another medicine which wont cause groggyness." is it really so clear cut on what category of illness will be deemed as A/B/C/E etc?

no, govt/private specialist letters will be sufficient, though govt. ones is preferred since saf is also under govt. but since the specialist is some sort of an eminent senior consultant, his letter is good enough. the letter's wordings oso plays a part. e.g. is it strongly-worded?Originally posted by mattleesc:hi eac, thanks for the reponse. i read a few posts back i realised goldevil was well..not a MO or anything close.
anyway, i did provide a specialist letter. i was referred to him after visiting various specialist as this guy is supposedly the president of some irritable bowel syndrome support group or something, as corny as it sounds. so i assume he would be able to provide a proper diagnosis.
are you saying i need a government specialist letter instead? for my case, my illness is mainly symptom base, because any other reason would be due to potential cancerous colon cysts etc which er, would suck really bad. so its hard for me to get some proper test proofs because my various scopes and barium meals turned out negative.
as per medication, how does is the consumption of relaxants/anti depressants which have negative side effects like hangovers and drowsiness being regulated?
yes, the modified fieldcamp package and the technical handling of the rifle package includes that.Originally posted by Freedom Fighter:does pes c1l1 gets to wear the camo plus face paint camo carry rifle de training mah?

yes, and this should be in the bmt thread.... ok...Originally posted by Freedom Fighter:c1l1 got chance to carry rifle?
I have seen another pschiatrist n he used to be a regular in the SAF medical services. He prescribed some medicine. I have not shown the medicine to MO.Originally posted by eac:if ur reservist mo already knew and documented the medications ur taking. no need to arrange for another appt. no point.
got chance to shoot?Originally posted by eac:yes, and this should be in the bmt thread.... ok...
both the dummy wood rifle and the real one...
As far as i know you should have the chance for both as long as the reason you gotten your pes C makes you excuse from those information.Originally posted by Freedom Fighter:got chance to shoot?
does c1l1 get to hold grenade?
I AM GOING TO NS IN 16 HOURS!!!
he will just note down the new medications and observations in the medical review.Originally posted by will4:I have seen another pschiatrist n he used to be a regular in the SAF medical services. He prescribed some medicine. I have not shown the medicine to MO.
I felt quite sleepy after taking the medication. What I need to know is after letting the MO at MMI seen my medication, what will he do next to I?
Arrange for a medical board?
How do the MO determined the kind of medication the NS personnel taking will justify a medical baord?Originally posted by eac:he will just note down the new medications and observations in the medical review.
whether or not again a medical board review is strictly up to his own discretion.
