  Hmmm... i believe it's just some bs created by some army regular to scare us nsf. I've seen Pes E PSC scholars. I personally don't believe that your pes status in army will affect your employability in any way.

  Hi,which PES am i likely to go?
  
  Hearing impaired - unable to be in contact with water at all(except bathing obv.)
  
  I wont be able to do any water-related activities such as swimming(with hearing),jogging in the rain,contact with wet mud (during march,crawl etc) and so on.
  
  Guns?I hope i get to fire an Automatik Kalashnikov(and i got to fire one anyway)

  there is an audiometry test wearing headphone during checkup at pre-enlistment medical checkup. dependable on e degree of hearing result.

  its dependable on those components... NOT just hearing alone only...
  
  whatever ur problems, note down all in a piece of paper, then explain one by one to e cmpb mo... cos when u go e checkup, after all e basic medical tests.. will got consultation with the cmbp mo to speak.

  I actually have a similar question...
  
  Right now I'm a temp PES C for a few months, scheduled to go for PES C recourse. Current vocation is storeman. I have more than a year to go before ORD.
  
  If my temp PES C status expires and I get upgraded after completing PES C recourse, will I be revocated to a combat vocation? Or will I still stay as a combat fit storeman until ORD?

  dependable on ur unit s1 manpower br...
  
  temp pes c for a few months... then when expires, to ord how many months more... if the months is less than a hand's finger, then chief clerk will close one eye. only when u ord, then reservist will post back to combat vocation.
  
  temp pes when expiry review might be temp pes continuity again or up pes, dependable on when ur review that time, e.g. the condition improve or no change or what...etc.

  Really depend on unit manpower S1? Not CPC meh? I know my unit die die will not want to post me out because they are shorthanded...
  
  This is already my 2nd term of temp PES C (3 months, then renewed for another 3 months). I think should be able to renew again because my condition will not improve, got specialist letter also. Why don't they just perm downgrade???
  
  Haha, need 4 hands to count the number of months I have left. So if I really kenna up PES then by right should be revocated...but then why they schedule me for PES C BMT recourse if they want to revocate me...still got so long before last window.

  Was originally combat BMT at Tekong, got injured, Out Of Course. Now dunno why they send me for PES C recourse even though my PES C status is temporary..

  My medical is next week, and I have two questions:
  
  1. Do they tell you immediately what pes you are, or have to wait for letter or anything like that?
  
  2. Does smoking have any negative effect on what pes I can get?

  yes, just go ur camp medical centre and see mo again for review..
  
  since its just an excuse chit and not an offical medical board pes result status mc.

  1) yes, immediately during consultation with mo. unless u got got really problems that needs further diagnosis or kiv consultation with senior doctors, u got a temp pes D, then wait for the final pes to be mailed to ur home.
  
  2) no, smoking is just noted in the system, and during ns, ur favourite hangout will be within the designated yellow box.

  then u tell me what the function of s1 br in a unit for...? s1 "HR" officer have the power to retain u in ur unit, or internal transfer u... by means of valid strong reasons/recommendations on y u r so valuable... thru communication with cpc. but if the official unit estab. quota really no place/way to slot u in any available vocation vancancy, then thats where u get posted out.

  they wanna revocate me 1 .
  
  i chose nt to be sent to another camp .
  
  at least the camp ppl nt bad , if sent to another place .

  just go see ur camp mo with the mmi excuse chit for REVIEW... n then take the next step from there...

  Today went to medical check up. Was good for all stations, but at the end pes B. I asked why, he told me I am slightly overweight.

  pes A and B dont really matter much
  
  if u are reviewed maybe they will even give u a pes Bp if they find your BMI in the overweight range
  
  so just stay put.

  My BMI is just a lil off the Obese range. However, I would still like to do a review in a couple of months after I lose some weight. Cuz I heard that Pes A have better chance of getting into an elite unit.

  A and B has roughly equal chance to get into any unit since most of those that goes to commandos, divers etc are mostly mono intake so all that is left for BMT people to go to are rather similar regardless PES A or B
