Anyway, now i've got a more comprehensive set of ailments about my body.
1) Broken little finger on left hand that was healed quite some time ago. (this was posted some time ago, was told may be PES B or C.)
2) High myopia of over ~800 degrees - astigmatism heard is 300. havent check
3) Sensitive nose - cold/dusty environment may get my nose irritated, then start sneezing uncontrollably, in worse case may become a runny nose. It's really cannot tahan in some cases de.
4) sensitive to loud noise. i'm not sure if this is a medical condition, but when exposed to loud noise my ears very pain then like got something blocked. maybe it's my mentality ba.
5) and also, is there any test on your mentality in medical checkup? like, depression, stress, panic etc? i dont feel right in my mental mind sometimes.
So based on these, can sort of guess my PES?
I'm also wondering when i see the medical checkup guy, will i need to declare about my sensitive nose? I've no idea how not serious/serious it is, and it seems like a trivial matter cause when i'm not in cold/dusty environment i'm a normal person. later combat mission halfway sneeze uncontrollably lol.
FYI, PES is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PULHHEEMS.
1) u r right, pes b or c1 range. (go refer to that previous reply)
2) with myopia so very common on singapore boys, pes b.
3) Sinusitis or Rhinitis? whatever it is, just declare to MO properly.
4) ENT problem, just declare.
5) declare during 1-to-1 private consultation with MO.
anything just go get a specialist memo as supporting documents. if time doesn't permit then just a memo from your family GP.
Hi guys,
I'll most probably be enlisting next year but I haven't gone for my
medical check up yet. I suffered from cerebral arteriovenous
malformation(had a seizure) and underwent radiation treatment(Gamma
Knife) in 2003. Was on medication till 2006 and since treatment I did
not suffer from any seizures, therefore treatment was a success.
I suffer from partial colour deficiency and discoid eczema currently. What PES will I get? Thanks in advance.

1) You should be medically boarded and given new Pes Status within the 6 months. As for you vocation, I don't think you'll be revocated..

thats a lot of vocations to list, dude...
if u r really that eagered, while in camp, use the mindef computer to access the "List of Vocations" or "Vocations Directory" on its intranet... if dunno where, just go to the sitemap of the homepage to search for it...
umm maybe just name a few then? the more common ones or the most probable ones. :)

rednano is right. the list of vocations directory is there on the mindef intranet.
please take own effort to at least do some self research, instead of being spoonfed...
I will appeal again and try for PES E9L9 as previous medical board still remain at C2L2. Normally, for spine operations the end result is E9L9 as the spine is a major risk.

u may appeal again. but from ur 1st post, u said u r 37 now, and going to Mindef Reserve (MR) very soon.
With the official statutory discharge from national service age at 40 for non-officer ranks, i urge u to not to waste anymore time/money on this matter.

Still an ASLC trainee, which might change after I book in later. Would be pretty pissed off if they take me out since I'm flying off for Taiwan this Saturday.
