Hi guys, i got posted to police academy for March 2009. But i did not went for napfa test during the checkup and got an extra 1 month physical training.
I got a silver for my sec 4 napfa, why is there no record of it?
i'm now in a 1 year course in ite. just completed my sec 4 last year.

since u in ITE now, NAPFA will be conducted in ITE during ur final year...

Please note that the NAPFA result is valid for 1 year from the date of test. You are advised to report for the test in acceptable attire and punctually. All the six test items must be completed in one single sessions. A maximum of 2 to 5 minutes rest period is permitted between any two tests (for the first test items); a 15 to 30 minutes rest period is permitted before the sixth test item. -

lets say after i pop , during the block leave i went to take isotretinoin and i sent the memo to cmpb , will i be downgraded temp for 6 months? a confirm downgrade right?
and another thing , i am now being excused from camou for 1 month , will i still get into rifleman or other infantry unit? cos all these vocation require lots of camou and also i have mild psoriasis problem , do they see my medical condition when they post me to unit? thks in advanced..

U don't send your memo to CMPB, u should submit it to your new unit medical centre.

Depends if u need to be temp downgrade then u'll be medically boarded, but if u just some temp excuse, the MO can give it to you.

u can say 50-50 lah...
cos since there is always alternative drugs substitutes for isotretinoin, MO can even give u referral letter to national skin centre for alternative treatment... -

Hi everyone!
I got OOT during my BMT training so im now being posted to my new unit.Im currently temp PES E due to taking accutane for my skin problem.
I got a qn to ask abt recourse of BMT. From wat i know is that they will ask me to recourse once my temp PES status is over right?
Wat i want to ask is that if i can request from my unit for re-BMT NOW ? Is it possible or is it impossible?

is accutane=isotretinoin? if i am not wrong , why some of the ppl taking this drug got downpes to C while some others got downpes to E? the MO see the severity of the acne or what? thanks in advanced..

hi,im having bilateral plantar fasciitis for abt 4 months since i enlisted. the pain is getting worst and it seems to be permanent already.becaused i have quite high arch,not flat foot. reported to MO alot of times.he keep telling me to carry on with activites..
the prob is the more i carry on, the worser it gets., showed him specialist letter saying "i have bilateral plantar fasciitis and to be excused as and when needed." can't i be downgraded for this?
he says plantar fasciitis cannot be downgraded. but flat foot ppl got downgraded due to plantar fasciitis am i right?prob is i have high arch,not flat foot.
the SGH specialist already discharged me. or is he always gonna excuse me time and time when i report sick till i ORD? he didnt refer me to get insoles done, only refer me to physio therapy, which i dont think is helpful because the pain will just come back when i start running and so on..
so will he send me for a review if i keep on reporting sick for it? im also having chronic lower back pain 4mth+ and recently upper back/neck pain1 mth+ i THINK is whiplash, the docs i seen+MO just didnt want to send me for an X-ray for my back, its hurting like hell for 1 mth already and theres no improvement at all, its only getting worst and worst.kept telling the MO to send me for X-ray, he keep say no need. i dont really know what to do now.

hmm, MO finally referred me to another specialist after seeing the physio memo. btw flat foot(pes planus) can be downgraded,what about high arch(pes cavus)?is it downgradable? if insoles cant help

Hey everyone, this is my prob. i injured my knee 4months ago in tekong and see the specialist twice and specialist did not do anything to my knees but just telling me to take painkiller while i wait for MRI and next appt. Since 2 months ago, i on clutches oready.
Just two weeks ago, i went for appendectomy and today is my review, i ask for a downgrade letter, and she told me that she is a general surgeon so she cannot downgrade me.
Since 2005 sept, i got depression and anxiety disorder, i did not go for any specialist as it is very expensive and i do not want my family to know. in army, it relapse, i hope to see a psychiatist but gov hospital appt is next year, by that time i killed myself oready. So i intend to see private specialist.
I need to downgrade badly. So, do you know of any orthopaedic spec or pyschiatist that is good and will to write strong Memos to downgrade me? How much it cost???

i enlisted 1 year but recently my flat foot problem is causing me some pain and discomfort.i heard from my bunk mate flat foot can be downgrade to pes c2. i wonder what shld i do now ?

See a MO, they can recommend you to a specialist to have the special in sole made....fyi flat feet now very difficult to be downgraded...only Pes B
