If your specialist did not recommend a downgrade. It means he does not feel your condition requires 1. Unless you are willing to seek a 2nd opinion with another specialist, asking here won't be of much use since the MOs will only look at a specialist memo and not what people on forums say.

What condition you got that does not require specialist memo to downgrade? Mostly only the more serious stuff MO auto downgrade or for most of the heart, blood etc related problems.

Specialist didn't mention downgrade doesn't mean won't downgrade. As long as your condition is mentioned in the pink bible, they will downgrade you. Most important is your specialist mentioned about your condition and what illness you have.

Yeah but the chance of a specialist recommending downgrade and getting 1 is higher. That pink bible is limited and a decent number of cases follow more specialist recommendation than what the pink bible says since you cannot diagnose a person's overall health base on each individual problem.

my specialist memo says to perm down pes me to c2l2 due to severe pes planus. I've suffered shin splint as a result of it. Submitted to medical board already. How long will it take to receieve the results? And how will i receieve the results.

I was Medically boards more than 6 times in 2 years. Other than the 1st memo that stated downgrade me, other all don't have. But I still managed to downgrade from C2L2 to C9L2 to C9L3 and E9L9.
My last pes status when i got it didn't mention anything much in the memo, just some old facts and my current condition. It also mentioned that i should get C9L3. But the MO seeing my medical condition, telling me that he don't agreed with the pes status from my specialist and recommend me E9L9 and ask me not to attend the MB.
FYI, my medical condition is not written down in the pink bible ( DOD ). How do I know ? Coz i was seen by a reservist MO before and told me my condition not inside and he don't know wat to do. Then the main MO came back and recommended me E9L9.
From my experience, there are no fix medical problem that can secure Pes E. As long as MO feels that the condition of the patient may cause very serious problem or even death. They will recommend for it.
One more thing to add. Skin problem normally specialist will not recommend for downgrade. They will just write their analyse and your current condition and MO will understand it as all these are written inside the DOD. So i hope those downgraders not be discourage just becoz the word DOWNGRADE is not written in the memo. Most important is you really have a medical problem and the right words are written in the memo. Your Medical condition being the most important.

For each 1 of u that gets a downgrade regardless with or without specialist recommendation, there are many others who do not get a downgrade despite specialist recommendation. The way you write makes it seem so simple that i feel alot will have false hope about getting downgrade.

As long as u have a medical condition, u have a chance to get downgraded. I tried for 2 years as my condition worsen. If it is so simple, i wont have taken 2 years. Most importantly, i am trying to let ppls know, if u really have a problem and don get downgraded the first time , don give up. As long as u have a true case, you have a chance. One MO in this forum told me before, condition can change over time. So they will revise you as long as your condition has changed. Tat's wat happen in my case.
Hi guys,
here to share my experince and need advice.
Im serving in this unit, which i find the commanders very unreasonable. What happen is when people wants to report sick, they do not allow them to go to the MO. Unless you really collapse. If just by complaining, they won't allow. And should yopu have any medical appointment, they also don't allow you to book out. What to do in this case?
EVEN if you get a status back from MO, they would scold you and say dont give them all those nonsense, they dont care. And cont to ask you chiong.
I did try telling them if anything happen to me are they going to be responsible. They say Im giving attitude, given extra. If you complaint to high level, after they get it, your life would be worst. Which makes many people fear
How do I safe myself from such unreasonable commanders?
When you really need to report sick but not allowed to.
And when you are on status they choose not to recognise it.

with the speedy advancement of technology, just drop by and send an email to Uncle Teo @ [email protected]
Uncle Teo is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, who's very concern with health and safety, and occupational safety in the ministry he take care of.
though the Chain of Command is the route to follow only should the issues be addressed. BUT if it's not solved, then be a snake, curve out of the obstructing wall.
i'm not joking with you... we call him Uncle Teo for a reason when we were in green uniform...
Hi!
My friend had just signed the down pes form given by the MO today. He was told that he will be down pes to PES E for about 6 months. Here are my questions:
1) Does anyone know that how long will it take for him to be revocated? A week or by 2 weeks time?
2) Is there any ways to be revocated faster? Like maybe parents calling to CMPB to ask them to make the down pes & revocated procedures faster?
Thanks in advance!

Revocation takes weeks as suitable slots have to be found for revocation. Its not you want to revocate straight away can revocate so just wait till the revocation letter arrives. Asking anyone to help also no use. Sometimes you just have to wait for someone to ORD or close to ORD for you to take their place.
My friend had just passed out from his bmt a few weeks ago and been posted to his unit just last week. In this case, he still needs to wait for a few weeks? Is there any hotline to call to enquire about the revocation status?

YES he has to wait. Which line in my previous reply did you not understand.

Can anyone tell me Pes C is liable for how many years/cycle of reservist?

Pes C depending on C1 - C9 also your deployment code. But most of the Pes C now are been recalled for reservist so will be the 10 cycles thing.
