Hi i have a few questions.
1.) I am also graded C1L3... as dkcx stated, those who enlist after Jun 2010. enlist which means enter first day of BMT or enlist means those who enlist to be a NSF (go for medical checkup) ... so if now i am C1L3 and i first day of BMT is let say Sep 2010. Will i still be C1L3 ?
2.) So, let say in question 1 if i still remain in C1L3, i understand that i must do IPPT.. but what if i havent take my NAPFA (which means fail)... will i be posted to go for PTP ? or just serve 7 weeks BMT ?
3.) Because i L3 cant go outfield, so whats the diff between B2 and my current PES C1L3 ?

I received MINDEF letter today and they asked me to report to HENDON CAMP for a Vocational Assessment tests. The assessment will take almost one day (from 0745 hours to 1730hours) to complete and compries the following stages:
- Medcal Screening
- Physical Fitness Assessment
- Psycho-Motor Assessment
- Psychology Assessment
- Interview
So basically is just go there and have the test and i can go home on that day? Or have confinement? Anyone have been through this VA, kindly share with me or the rest of forums members here.

Hey linwei20 i just got the letter ytd also was quite enthu about going in.!
i'm pes b but i haven work out in a long time.. might not be able to do chin up or pull ups..
when's your va? mine is next monday 1 Feb ya know :x
quite excited, i wanna get in cause it's what i wanted and i live in tampines.. so near my house heh heh
and my friends say take le can go home finish about 3pm, no confinement

Anyway at first i tought so fast i going to enlist, but actually is just a test. Need to have injection again? Mine is on 2Feb Tuesday :( not same.. I'm Pes A, that's why kena. I also haven't work out in a long time too, having holiday and working so lazy le.. Haha..
Anyway if you been to there, share with me more through PM or SMS me?

well i also thought i was going to enlist too, my girlfriend was over at my house and my mom pass me the letter it's like heart beating fast, most scary part is my gf helped me open the letter, and when i saw the map i was like "omg they teaching me where to report to enlist". i open the letter and first hting i look out for was a date, and i saw 1 feb 2010 i was like "OMG THEY ENLIST ME AT 1 feb" then i realise it's a VA, and hendon camp.. my brother was in NDU, ord-ed and my sister is a sign-on regular. it's quite weird though i get to go for va as commando as the youngest in my family. looking forward to it though haha. i'm pes b! had a tendon injury, but i only have N levels, what's your highest qualification?
Well i'll be updating my experience here on the evening of monday after i reach home, so stay tuned heh heh

Haha your experience and emotion is the same as me, but my girlfriend was not over my house. Wahaha.. Hmm your brother also Commando? But is sure will get selected or they choose?

well my brother is in naval diving unit, but in my personal opinion it's harder than commando.

talking about how come i n lvl only, it's a long story. LOL
sec 1 ~ sec 2 express drop to sec 3 ~ sec 4 normal(still doing e-maths), after sec 4 n lvls got o lvl paper got drunk and missed my paper, n lvl results came out got 6 points but alr v wasted so quit and go onto ite..
enroled in ite balestier jan 2007 intake precision engineering course(mainly just to be with my friend who is alr there), and quit in 1 month, joined april intake 2007 simei ite electrical engineering(wasted 1 month in a wrong class before teacher find out that i in wrong class), went back to own class and had to catch up, it was then i found out i go wrong course(i'm an infocomm guy, like computers alot, kinda a geek actually :p), attempted to quit school a couple of times but got persuaded back into the course, then april 2009 finished course but had to retain half a year more for third sem modules(i tried to quit that time so never go school), nonsense went on till may 2009 then decided to quit and work... was offered a sponsorship by company's boss for a private diploma but had to turn it down cause i enlisting soon..
so here's my academic progression ups and downs story, LOL.
Nasty huh, but if i really can go commando i happy le, heh heh.
just worried abt gf running away during me serving army, happens to alot of guys around me.

Anyway if your studies is not good like me, then we must aim to work harder next time! I'm also an ITE Student, just graduate only.. To cut short you story, let's not talk about qualification, i don't look down actually:)
Talk about girlfriend running away, every guy also will scare want. "Shi ni de, jiu shi ni de, bu shi ni di, jiu bui shi ni de (In Chinese)" (In English) "if is your's, means your's, if it is not your's, by all means, not your's" If you 2 have a strong relationship, i don't think nothing will happen. i did not get enlisted is because of my long story up there.. that took around 4 years lol.. so it's kinda crappy, actually it's 3 years, counting when i was 16 i was still sec 4. T_T!

but there are rare cases of people "forgetting that their camera phone is rolled up along with their stuff in their bag when they book in ":P
