  what is the minimum criteria to at least get a complete bmt and dont need to come back for recourse?

  ask the other way round will be more easier.
  
  what is the min criteria to get an out of course (OOC) => 3 days MC + 1 week Att B.
  
  sh|t. you have to pass what a BASIC soldier BASIC need to know and do.
  that is why it call BASIC MILITARY TRAINING.

  you must not miss the major events, and must not miss, i think, 7 days of the course.
  
  must pass certain packages such as IPPT, BTP, IFC.

  my bmt was a mono intake and my unit ended up passing almost all of us when some of us cant even pass ippt & soc. I guess they want to help us bah since we will be in tat unit for the rest of our ns time..

  don't think anyone can fail BMT anymore now with the new system. those who failed IPPT, SOC, range etc will be classified as "Attended BMT" while those that pass everything will be classified as "Completed BMT".

  there are 3 veto factors now:
  IPPT, IMT, field camp
  
  take all 3 and pass = completed bmt
  pass 2 = attended
  pass 1 or 0 = fail
  
  the rest of the stuff.... well lets just say the commanders have a way of getting you to pass it.
  
  SOC is not a criteria. you just have to take it, but not pass it.

  It certainly appears that the Army's current ethos is, "It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game". Now if only the conduct of war could be similarly modified.

  I thought that you can considered as 'attend' BMT with a least 1 pass from either IPPT, SOC and individual fieldcraft?
