  Wah so jialat, sound like everybody HATE L-torch!!! 1 thing I observed when I was deployed to Australia for mil exercise previously, spoken to the aussie soldiers & they seem to have no problem with their L-torch (but not sure they bought their own equipment or it was issued by their organisation). Is the "hate L-torch" syndrome "Uniquely Singapore"?

  L-torch, bought one 2xC battery for fun from Beach Rd at $2.50. Lens crack liao.
  
  I find that the 2xC batt one is brighter than the 2xAA or maybe is because I used to use those AA batt which are going to die out one liao so the light is dimmer.

  well if the aussies you met were anywhere near as well-equipped as the aussie i met then they're probably issued with them. i suppose their army can afford to equip them well because they have a pretty small force - that's what my co said, anyway.

  Knowing the long-life reliability & energy saving of LED Vs light-bulb, went jalan jalan hunting around looking for a LED L-torch but in vain (not even in beach road)... Anyone know where to get a L-torch LED version? Hopefully below $25
