The SAF Helmet

  Yo, anyone knows what level of ballistic protection the current-issue SAF helmet provides?
  
  From this thread (http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=105667&page=0), it would appear that the helmet issued to us is the PASGT. Can anyone confirm?
  
  Also, does anyone here know if the protection offered by the helmet will be compromised by minor tearing at the front edge of the helmet?

  It probably can take bullets, but not a konk on the head with a turret hatch.

  Did some research on the net and found out that the PASGT was available in 2 levels of protection; level II and level IIIA.
  
  So which is ours?
