aiya, look at all that is happening..... China wants to establish a "stronghold" in SE Asia.
It's flexing their muscle at us, telling us that if all PRC pple spit, it will flood spore.
It's a known "secret" that our troops train in ROC and along side with ROC counterparts. Why PRC didn't make noise in the past but now? It wants to show ROC....."Look, spore is a tiny island far far away but i can also make it obey and respect me...."
basically, China is trying to claim "sovereignty" over many land now..... Tibet, Taiwan, islands and sea rich in oil...... who knows one day China simply will state that wherever that Zheng He had gone to, all belong to China....
I remember during a chinese history class in Uni, my PRC lecturer told us, there used to be a clause in the older China Constituition..... saying that all chinese are citizens of PRC......
that clause got many chinese into troubles in places like indonesia, thailand, philippines during the migrant era in the later 1800s and early 1900s..... alot of anti-chinese sentiments becoz locals doubt the chinese's loyalty to the local government after migrating there.

don't worry guys. if one day PRC and DPRK ever join forces to wage a war, US will most likely nuke them. That's the best and only weapon to stop two huge communist states from full force attack on US interests. -

a strong china is not necessarily a good thing. china dont and wont consider overseas chinese a part of them. they are already throwing their weight around when they are not even fully developed. imagine when they are....
