Thats wt e drivers told me too...during their driver course at sembawang camp they were told that mto should provide e cashcard. But when cme to unit, their mto told them a different story, to get it fm who ever indent 4 transport. I wonder did mto keep those cash cards 4 himself n spend it outside?? u never knw!! ...anyway minibus cannot anyhw park outside one, ...so never encounter e parking problem w cashcard.
My fri kana once, both he n e driver were in e minbus 4 despatch n on e expressway going to cmpb...than last min he found out e driver gt no cash card n he himself oso dun hve.... than bo bian drove through e gantry...a few weeks later, my camp received a fine fm LTA through Mindef....n he paid e fine himself! forgot liao think was $15 fine.
thats y i always carry a cash card w me...if e driver dun hve, than bo bian i use mine...e ERP charge is around $1.50, i always tell e driver to treat me a drink which always cost less than $1.50 at e next camp in return 4 e cost of e cash card. so both sides pay a bit loh.
