Napfa standards in army

hey ive just finished my ptp...theres are a few qns i wld like to ask...has the napfa standard being raised? i rem cleary if u get 2 points and a total of 15 points and above u get silver? but my intructors said that now u have to obtain 3 points to get silver and 4 points to get gold? can someone clarify this pls? thanks

Napfa and ippt like very similar but 2 different things.
Till you reach cat Y, or YY otherwise expect not much changes. -
Ippt different from Napfa. Napfa you get gold = Ippt silver

yes indeed. u must get 3 points for all stations to get silver. 4 to get gold.
btw i heard in order to get gold, 2.4km must get 5 points is that true?

2.4 Requirement for IPPT Gold is still below 9.15/9.45..

Also, IIRC, they will need to get 5 points for ALL their stations for Gold in addition to the sub 9.15 timing...(Mentioned in the black MINDEF mini-dairy)
What about Commando Cadets? What standards to they go by now when they take their tests in OCS during Pro Term? -

The 9.15/9.45 requirement is still there on top of the other requirements, which is "B+21" (minimum grade of B per station and a minimum of 21 points total) for Service/Combat groupings and "A+25" (all stations must get 5 points) for the Commando/Diver groupings.
There were a lot of 25 pointers trainees in my school who fail to get Gold and the Course commander will force them to retake and retake until they get it..
