NSman Reservist: PES E/ Clerk Now Go ICT! Manpower No Enough

  hello. do pes E need reservist mah? i heard must standby for 5 years huh? or what? 99% of the time wont kena reservist? any old bird here can tell me?

  U PES E isit? Still haven ORD? IF haven ORD why tink so far? If u not PES E, why u bother?

  it depends if u are temp or perm and how serious your medical condition in general.
  
  PES E perm only get called back in a emergency and only if they REALLY REALY need your contribution. If not the would rather call back those in MR (military reseves) first!!!

  generally "no need" for reservice. we have a liablity to reservice for 5 yrs only
  did any pes E really goes back? i doubt so. so hehe!!

  Not true. PES E vocation is tailored to the medical condition already. If you are a clerk during NSF you can still serve as a clerk during reservist.
  
  Where the law is concerned PES E persons can be called back during reservist. But in truth, they are hardly ever called back unless they are really essential..like if you were the MO and they need someone to cover the medical centre so the PES A MO can foolow the troops. Got so many clerks now dun need reservist clerks to come back..

  I drove 3 tonner that time accident at SAF , suffer minor head injuries , rumour I will kena charge 30 days at DB , so I keng like real , see MO complain severe headache la , blur vision la , migraine la , cannot sleep la , then later sent me to see Specialist , after that go medical board la , i succeed .

  Walan eh , Pes E best la , excuse shooting , excuse swimming , excuse uniform , excuse confinement , excuse duty , excuse running , excuse exercise , excuse basically everything , only koon..... Zzzzzz no excuse !
  
  Downgraded permanent Pes E ! Gave me a green card , which can be use to exit Singapore without the SAF approval .
  
  Those Majors and captains told me "If" there's a need , then they recall me , only "if" , that "if" never arrived !

  Ya...depends on your unit. The last time I went overseas training with engineers, there were Pes E MO, Pes E medics all following the troops. They didn't build bridge of course lah, just medical cover. Actually I thought Pes E personel not supposed to go overseas training, but the manpower officer called them in anyway.
