my 732 always goes into one of the waterbottle pouches, meaning i have one less bottle if i carry the 732. and i must say it is really a lousy place to put the set! hope the current LBV addresses this issue.Originally posted by Mitfox:lol.. i'm opposite.. i put the green packs in my pants sometimes, coz i scared proning and crawling will bust the packs.. hahaha..

Actually, out in the field, anything goes for meOriginally posted by lftwgr:Actually, i'd rather eat those biscuits then eat maggie mee...AFAIK, there are several advantages:
1. You don't have to cook them (of course you can eat your maggie raw but with the seasoning, you'd get more thirsty after that - which means you're drink up more of your bottle - thankfully, if there's one thing the storemen excel at outfield, its providing plentiful supply of water)
2. There is something they put into the biscuits that does something to the digestive system.... i don't know about you people, but eating the biscuits reduced the need for me (and quite a few others in my platoon) to visit the field toilet.... which is another good thing when you are outfield and have not enough time or are too bone tired to go to the toilet or dig one for yourself with your ET tool
Personally, if i were given a choice, i'd rather survive on biscuits then eat the new-fangled SFI rations (there was a time i got nothing but the ration pack with the 'glutinous rice with chicken' and 'chestnut chicken rice'.... bleh!)
