i heard that if u r the only son in the family, chances of signing on is not really great.

only son can't go to commandos oso
how true is that ?

There is hearsay that only son in family more likely to get slack positions, but I don't see it happening in my circle of friends.

Not really true - my younger brother and me were posted to Guards units. I have an older brother from the combat engineers. Also, one of my NS mates had a twin brother - also posted to a Guards unit. His brother (the other twin), served in a later batch because he went to poly. -

wouldn't it be interesting if your big brother is in the army, 2nd brother in air force and you in navy. can see 3 types of different uniforms in the closet.
