RHL?

  I just received a letter from mindef, saying that i have been posted to RHL 6DIV for my reservist.
  
  I have no idea what RHL is. anyone help?

  RHL? Reserve Holding List? Hmm..I have actually no idea..perhaps you'll be under DIV HQ?

  Yep, Resource Holding List. In my time, RHL, is a place where the Army place you, because they have no idea what to do with you at the moment.
  
  But rest assured, they will post you out once they know what to do with you.

  i was from 1sir. before i ord, i was told that i would be in some 600+ SIR. so now it means that i won't be with my guys anymore?

  i wish i could be with my men... now i kena RHL.. is it a good thing or a bad thing? i can only imagine it being a good thing becos u go to higher estab (division level) is more slack.. but then again RHL 6 DIV doesn't mean i will stay on the division side right?

  If you went on to Uni, you won't be with your guys again.Because IHL ppl are shunted aside to form another group or smtg like that.Those guys from your 1 SIR who did not go on to IHL will make up their reservist battalion.

  they will post you to a unit that has a shortfall. you have to get to know people all over again. sucks!!!

  it can't be.. almost ALL the commanders in my unit were a level so they would be going to uni.... and the BN knew about this yet told us we would be with our guys... is it only for the first few years?

  Not everything the Army tells you is confirmed.Maybe you will join your guys, but later on.Anyway, you are still in the same division so I think there's a chance you guys will see each other again, but not now.Perhaps, even though you are in IHL, they still need to classify you, therefore putting you in your Div's RHL.
