#4 : I'm going to the canteen... ( While you can continue cleaning your rifle )
#5 : We must follow the TSR ( I don't care if the soldiers become wimps, as long as I get my retirement benifits safely )
#6 : You must do it this way... not the way your officers told you ( But of course, I was taught this way 20 years ago... )The wonders of SAF

#1 : Those who book in wearing smart no.4 must sling their bags on one shoulder and not on 2 shoulders.
#2 : Those who are caught booking in with improper attire will come back the following saturday morning together with your CSM/SSM for a defaulters parade.
Haha... i wonder if so much studying has done any good for him.

Call me crazy, but if a backpack has got (2) slings, then wouldn't slinging it on (1) side make it look messier? not to mention uncomfortable depending on your load? or am i missing something here?Originally posted by edemonda:Wait a minute... Well, just behave as you go along man..No one said it's a fast rule.Just follow it when you are booking out and until you are out of sight..Originally posted by deathscythe99:It's implemented in training schools...what's the big deal?
well. some RSM still practise this tradition. the rational behind this is beacuse when u are in no.4 and carrying a backpack with 2 sling on your shoulder, the right sling will cover your name tag on your right chest.Originally posted by gonegoose:Call me crazy, but if a backpack has got (2) slings, then wouldn't slinging it on (1) side make it look messier? not to mention uncomfortable depending on your load? or am i missing something here?
