Did your instructors not put a stop to your self-destructive tendencies?Originally posted by Littlemouse:hoho combat rations, i jus came back from my field camp as of today. Combat rations i think most ppl in my coy didnt touch anything. 1st meal was bad enough. Most of us jus pretty much survived on 2 biscuits and a whole lot of water per meal.

In thailand, they have their equalivent of ninja van, its the ninja pickup. They practically follow us everywhere. Then they fried their instant mee, add in egg and vege, ta bao into white foam box, 20 Baht. top it off with a can of coke 20 baht in thailand's weather in feb/march. And the best deal is, the little boy will carry a few packets and climb to our deployment ground, to exactly where my camofledged trench was.Excellent . Once my pc told me to deploy my men on a hill to defend the junction it controls while the rest of the platoon occupy other hills. And he comms me asking where am I, he cannot find me. I told him, sir see the ninja pick up? follow the thai boy, i had ordered mee and drinks for my men. He will be delivering to me soon. some of us gave those boys our CR. they were so happy. haha... guess its a win win situation huh.. once i was touched by the gesture of some thais. we were deployed near some farm land. Then there was this shack bulit from those bamboos. No bigger than a HDB room. The farmer offered me some rice and veges despite he might not have enough for his family though. I politely decline, and offer him all my combat rations. everything including the biscuits, pocari etc.HIs boy was happy when the father gave him the fruit bars. I like the way the thais live. They are really nice people and sincere.
