  job scope for the CNEF guys basically is fix any avionics related problems.
  
  if they're back in base, they should be doing the scheduled servicing on parts.
  
  if they're attached to the 1st line, they will do the minor scheduled servicing or at most times, rectify any problems found after flight or during servicing.
