Specialist to officer,feasible?

I sign on as a specialist,accepted the JPSDS,got a diploma.
After that,is it possible for me to be converted to officer if I go get a degree?
Also,is there any chances that I could be selected for OCS?If I performed well in OCS,got a merit for my diploma,is it possible for me to get the merit scholarship?Assuming I accepted the JPSDS.
Since both scholarship has bonds,does that means I have to serve as a specialist for that JPSDS then only can I serve as an officer for that merit scholarship OR I can straight away serve as an officer but the bond will be both of the scholarships. -

You will not be convert to an officer because you got a degree, it doesnt work that way. Only if you excel during your Basic Section Leader Course in SISPEC and nominated to cross over to OCS, only then they will convert your career scheme from Premium Plan to SAVER scheme upon commission as an officer. Of course your bond and MTE will still remains. errr...well... there is this 2 Lt jeremayah (dunno if spelt correclty not) in 3SIR that was once a 3 Sgt for around 2 years... then he got recommanded to go into OCS and now he's an Officior...going to disrupt in july to go for a degree though...
moral of story is... that even if u dun get to OCS via SISPEC you could get through if your CO or OC recommands u to become an Officior... (sorry for wrong spellings) -

The chances for that is more slim compare to cross over to OCS from SISPEC in the begining stage of the career and that is why I didn't mention in my previous post. He would have to first hold platoon sergeant appointment and proof in his annual reports for his excellent performance which mean about 4 to 5 years of his premium service. NSF Specs have converted to Officers before.
