The MOs follow the book lah..without specialist letter they dare not move also or they kenna scolded by CO and MCC. The first rule in SAF is protect your own backside...
Beg some money from your parents to see another private specialist lor...so many around, can sure get one to see you immediately. If you have X-ray, bring along...don't have to waste more money taking another X-ray. -

Another thing is that even the MO board you w/o enough evidence or documents...he is going to get scolded by the chairman of the board. -

what the specialist say?
should consider that this will be a life time thing. you don't want it cropping up in future when you're working. if it proves too disruptive, you might get retrenched. -
As the guys said, the best thing is really to go see a private specialist.
If it makes you feel any better, one guy in my platoon complained of back pains at the end of BMT, but it wasn't until one week before getting the red beret that he finally got to see the specialist. The X-rays showed that he had a fractured vetrebra - instant downgrade. After one year's work (all the time with his back pain), he held on to the beret for only one week, and also had to return his back pay. Talk about suay. -

Although aging is the primary cause, the location and rate of degeneration is individual. The degenerative process of spondylosis may impact the cervical, thoracic, and/or lumbar regions of the spine affecting the intervertebral discs and facet joints. -
