  Acronym for In Charge, meaning one is appointed to be in charge of something. example: platoon IC, section IC, area cleaning IC etc. The 2nd in command will be call the 2IC, 3IC and so on.

  U will hear this often if you go to command school or battalion where trainees/commanders got misorientated during navex or exercises.
  so far i seen sergeants who doesnt know where the hell they are and trainees talking on the comms: uh..52A(callsign) i think we are lost!
  worse comes to worst if they got misoriented overseas and the safety vehicle come to guide them back. Most of the time drifted a few clicks away from the AO. thats why there are stories of those who jack vehicles during navex...even in singapore..
  
  note: misorientated is a kinder word than lost. emphasized on when i was a trainee and the instructor tell us to use the word rather than LOST.

  Should be two,since PR's NRIC also begins with a "S".So the colour code is a differentiation too.
